life alive cafe. Lowell, ma

In 2004, with no budget whatsoever since the little money she had went into equipment, Heidi ransacked her tiny apartment and blessed with the generous muscle of friends transformed a 1,400 square foot, street level residence into the first Life Alive Cafe. Paint, Jesso, precious treasures, and HUGE amounts of LOVE transformed the space into a vibrant temple of nourishment, luring people from far and wide not only with delicious food and soulful service, but an environment that awakened the souls of even the most hard-core non-believers.

Project Scope: Branding, Interior Design, Equipment Design & layout, Wayfinding & Signage, Custom Millwork, Art Curation, Treasure Hunting, and of course, operations!
