Our third Life Alive, again sustainably designed and crafted with salvaged materials: Artist Nadya Volicer utilized found wood to construct the entire counter front as a tidal mosaic, and this time went even further to help us create colorful and airy hanging space dividers, sculptures and the enormous Sri yantra that inspired Life Alive’s original logo. Working with local millworker Peter Galloni, we found a huge fallen maple that we used to build our counters, tabletops, and shelving. We even made lights out of our steamer baskets!
